About

I am a Freelance Graphic Designer/Illustrator who is born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and I will always be proud of that. I have always been about illustrating comics, even from an early age. I used to sit there and draw from my Amazing Spider-man comics or even use references from Nintendo Power. From the age of 10, I began teaching myself how to draw until I took my first classes in High School. As I got into my undergraduate studies, my professors opened my eyes to more traditional art where I discovered my love of Impressionism and Surrealism. In the years since school I have worked with some amazing artists and clients who have influenced me as an artist. While schooling ends, learning does not.

Nearly my entire life I have been influenced by comic artists, whether it was discovering Todd McFarlane's dynamics or Mark Bagley's story telling, I used their influences to help me find my own style. While I try to incorporate some of my comic influences into my work one thing I learned in college was when to ramp up my comic style or when to turn it off. Working with clients like Joe Namath and Liberty Studios, really got me to understand how to work with limitations.

I love to create art because it is an expression of who I am. It allows me to problem solve for myself and my clients.

When I am between jobs, I work on one of my comic stories that I have written and hope to one day self publish.
